These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Mugdle, which is owned and operated by Ponerian LLC. By accessing or using Mugdle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Mugdle.
About Mugdle
Mugdle is a free, general-audience daily guessing game for personal entertainment. It does not require an account, and game results, streaks, and scores have no cash or prize value. Mugdle is not directed to children under 13.

Your permission to use Mugdle
Ponerian LLC gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable permission to use Mugdle for lawful, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms.
Except for third-party content described below, Mugdle’s software, design, text, branding, and other site content are owned by Ponerian LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
People, images, and data
Names, likenesses, team and league names, trademarks, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Mugdle uses them for identification, commentary, and entertainment. Featuring a person or organization does not imply that they sponsor, endorse, or are affiliated with Mugdle or Ponerian LLC.
Portraits and data remain subject to their respective source and license terms. Where applicable, creator, source, and license information is retained in the data published with the site.
Celebrity discovery includes data from Pantheon, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, and structured data from Wikidata, licensed under CC0.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Mugdle in a way that violates the law or another person’s rights;
- disrupt, damage, or interfere with the site, its security, or another person’s use of it;
- introduce malicious code or use automated requests that place an unreasonable load on the site;
- bypass access restrictions or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Mugdle or its supporting systems;
- commercially exploit Mugdle or use its branding to create a misleading copy or substitute; or
- imply that a featured person, team, league, or other organization endorses or is affiliated with Mugdle.
Corrections and rights concerns
To report a factual error, attribution issue, or material you believe infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@ponerian.com. Please identify the affected content and its location, explain the issue, provide your contact information, and include any information that supports your request. If you are acting for a rightsholder, tell us who you represent and confirm that you are authorized to act for them. We may request additional information needed to evaluate the report.
Availability and changes to Mugdle
We may correct, replace, or remove puzzle content and may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Mugdle at any time. We do not guarantee that a particular puzzle, feature, or result will always be available, accurate, secure, or error-free.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mugdle is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Ponerian LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ponerian LLC and its members, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to Mugdle.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, their total liability for all claims arising from or related to Mugdle will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use Mugdle during the 12 months before the claim or US $100. These Terms do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Your responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ponerian LLC and its members, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of Mugdle or your material violation of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Mugdle changes. When we do, we will post the revised Terms here and update the effective date above. Your continued use of Mugdle after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
General terms
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Ponerian LLC concerning your use of Mugdle.
